Tone was created to provide artists with the transparency and fairness that they deserve, and we aim to provide you with as much information as we can about your work. However, if you’re not seeing any information in your portal, it’s likely because your label has not published any royalty statements for you yet.

Here’s a sneak peek at what you can expect to see, once your label has published your first statements in Tone!

In your Tone account, you can expect to see your royalty statements on the Statements page:

These statements will contain a breakdown of all the income and costs associated with your contract(s):

Your sales data is available on the Insights page after each royalty period is published by your label:

Please note, Tone Insights data is NOT the same as the consumption-level data provided by Spotify for Artists or Chartmetric (ie: showing when a song was streamed). Tone Insights shows your share of sales based on report date (ie: when the data was reported to your label) and will reflect trends around when your label was paid for your sales.

If there is anything else that you would like to see in your Tone account or if you have any ideas for improvements, please always feel free to get in touch at [email protected]. We’re always open to suggestions!
