The Import tool is a quick and easy way to get your files into Tone. You can drop any royalty related data (sales, contracts, costs, catalog payees etc.) into one queue and Tone works out what the contents of each file is and where it needs to go.

Common use cases:

• Upload a contract PDF and Tone reads it, extracts the key terms, and creates a contract draft for your review.
• Upload a sales file and Tone detects it automatically and routes it to the Sales tool for processing.

👀 Before You Start

Where to find it: Click on “Import” from the Catalog & Contracts or Costs page or visit /import directly.

Who can use it: You’ll need at least one of the following permissions on the company:

• Manage sales
• Manage costs
• Manage contracts and catalog

If you don’t see the Import option, ask a company admin to check your permissions.
