What is Tune Up?

Tune Up is a built-in data quality scanner in Tone. When you run it, it checks your account for missing information, unmapped data, and configuration gaps across four key areas: Sales, Costs, Catalog, and Contracts.

Think of it as a health check for your royalty data — it surfaces the issues most likely to affect accurate payouts, so you can fix them before running a royalty period.


Where to Find It

Tune Up lives on your Home dashboard. When you log in to Tone, look for the Tune Up card in the main content area. It's available to labels with royalty processing enabled.


Running a Tune Up

  1. From the Home dashboard(via Tone logo), locate the Tune Up card.
  2. Click Run a Tune Up.
  3. Tone will scan your account across all four categories. A progress bar shows the scan as it runs.
  4. Once complete, your results are organized into tabs by category.

Note: Scan results are cached for 24 hours. If you've made changes and want a fresh scan, click Re-run Tune Up at any time.
