🔁 How to Simulate Royalties with Tone’s Contract Simulator

Tone’s Contract Simulator is a powerful feature built into the Library that allows you to simulate how sales flow through your contract terms — instantly showing how royalties will be calculated and how costs will be recouped.

Unlike other royalty software (or manual Excel setups), Tone’s simulator gives you real-time results without needing to run an entire royalty period.

🧭 Where to Find the Contract Simulator

1. Log into Tone
2. Go to Library
3. Click into Royalty Rates
4. Open the Details panel next to the contract you want to run a simulation on
5. Use the left-hand menu to jump to Contract Simulator

The Contract Simulator interface lets you:

• Add simulated sales with control over amount type, amount, units, territory, channel, configuration, source, and track
• Add costs (e.g. marketing, recording)
• See contract-level royalty calculations instantly
• Test recoupment and crossed contract logic in real time
