We exist so that you can get paid fairly and faster. So, let’s get right to it!
The first thing you need to do, is find the invitation email that you were sent by Tone and click on the Activate your account button:

If you did not receive an invitation email, please contact your label so that they can set up an account for you.

Once you have created a password and logged in, you’ll see the 3 activities that you need to complete:
To complete the Payment Method, click on the Payee Settings tab at the top:
The first section you will land on is Payee Preferences. This is where you will make sure that your name, email address, and phone number are entered correctly.
Next, click on the Payment tab and enter your bank account information:
If you receive an error message after entering your bank information, please double check that everything has been entered correctly (and remember to use the U.S. Date of Birth format, which is mm/dd/yyyy).
If you still receive an error message, please contact [email protected] as your bank may be located in a country that we cannot send money to.
After you’ve entered your bank account information, click on the Taxes tab:
When filling out your W-9, remember to use the name that is shown on your tax return. For example, if you file taxes under a business name, use that name on the form in the ‘Full Name’ section.
If you are located outside of the United States, you will need to fill out the W-8BEN or W-8BEN-E form. Instructions on how to fill out this form can be found here, however, we do recommend that you speak with a tax advisor first.
The last step is to add additional users to your account; for example, an accountant or business manager. Do this by clicking on the Team tab:
You will enter the email address of the user, their access level (in case you want them to be able to only view rather than edit, for example) and their job title.

You’re done! We will check your banking and tax information to make sure everything is correct and then you are officially verified. If there are any issues, we will contact you via email. When your account is verified, you will see this green Verified badge on your Statements page:
