How to Manage Contracts for Royalty Processing in Tone

Contracts are one of the most complex parts of royalty processing, and for good reason: they determine who gets paid what, when, and how. At Tone, we’ve designed our Contracts tool to be as clear and intuitive as possible—without compromising the level of detail required to reflect real-world deals.

This guide walks through how to manage contracts using the Contracts & Catalog hub, how to enter and edit information in the spreadsheet and details panel, and how to link contracts to catalog and financial terms so your royalty runs are accurate and complete.


Getting Started

To access your contracts:

  1. Click Contracts & Catalog in the main navigation
  2. Select the Royalty Rates tab
  3. This opens the Contracts spreadsheet view, which displays all contracts in your Tone system.
